In Owl Class, we are a mix of year 1 and year 2 children, ranging from 5-7 years old. Our teacher is Mrs. Fraser and our teaching assistant is Mrs. Cross. We are still very young and enjoy lots of opportunities to explore and discover. Our friends are important at this age so we love it when we are able to work with each other during our learning, whether that be in pairs or in group work. We are still learning to communicate our ideas and thoughts effectively and respond to each others feelings. Our confidence is growing as we begin to read and write more and we enjoy sharing our great learning with our peers. Listening to a range of stories is something we love the most! Manipulatives to support our learning, especially in maths, help us to understand new learning and guide us to be independent successful learners and we love lots of praise and rewards along the way too.
